  • Co Kenh Coal Mine is one of the strategic coal mines managed and exploited by EPC Equipment Joint Stock Company. This is a mine with coal reserves that have been systematically and thoroughly assessed for geological conditions, with good and stable coal quality, meeting strict technical standards.
  • With the outstanding feature of anthracite coal with high calorific value, suitable volatile matter, few impurities and environmentally friendly, Co Kenh Coal Mine plays an important role in supplying fuel for heavy industries, cement production, thermal power, as well as serving civil consumption needs.

EPC Vietnam has been investing heavily in mining technology, coal screening and blending systems right at the mine site, to ensure stable output quality, meeting the technical standards of each partner. The fulcrum for the quality of EPC’s products and services also comes from a team of experienced engineers and technical staff with in-depth knowledge of geology, coal mining and processing processes. IMPORTED COAL ECOSYSTEM

To ensure a stable and flexible supply chain that meets the diverse technical requirements of each industry, EPC Coal proactively imports coal from countries with the world’s leading mining capacity. International coal sources are carefully selected, ensuring standards of calorific value, ash content, moisture content as well as stability in actual operation.

Australian coal has high calorific value, low ash content and high ash melting point, making it very stable during combustion.

Russian coal stands out for its high carbon content, high calorific value, low sulfur and high stability during combustion – suitable for systems requiring high fuel efficiency and durable operation.

COAL MIXING

Coal after mining often has heterogeneous characteristics in terms of calorific value, moisture and ash content. EPC has invested in a modern blending system to adjust the composition and quality of coal, suitable for each purpose of use such as: chemicals, thermal power, cement, ceramics, metallurgy, etc.

The blending options are carefully calculated by a team of experienced technicians, ensuring optimal combustion efficiency, saving fuel costs and minimizing emissions during the customer’s use.

COAL DISTRIBUTION

With the orientation of becoming a strategic partner in the energy supply chain for key industries, EPC builds a coal distribution system that is proactive – flexible – optimizing production costs.

After being screened and mixed, coal is transported directly to factories through a logistics network combining roads, waterways and specialized ports. EPC also develops transit points in many large production areas, helping to shorten delivery times and minimize inventory costs for customers.

EPC’s difference lies not only in the stable quality of coal, but also in the ability to understand the usage needs of each field, thereby providing optimal solutions for choosing suitable coal lines.
